The Team
Our wonderful team of teachers and helpers will ensure your children have a lovely day and enjoy coming to The Breakaway Club. Each teacher will have a helper who will be a great role model for the children and help them to get the most from their experience.
Mel Rayner - As Director of New Forest Swim Academy and a Ballard sports coach three afternoons a week. I'm often in and around the school working with the children in the PE department. A lover of all things sporty, I can't wait to deliver fun and progressive sessions to the children.
Evan Robinett is in Year 10. A great all round sports star and an absolute favourite with the younger years where he often helps out with after school activities.
Flo Rayner is in Year 9. Flo is in her 3rd season playing football for Southampton FC and loves Design Technology with Mr Cornwell. Flo also helps coach the year 6 after school netball club with Mrs Marshall.
Aurelia Sexton Chadwick is in Year 10. Hugely adored by
the younger years and respected by her peers. Aurelia
has been helping teachers run after school sports clubs
and is a great all rounder.
Andrew Cornwell - Our esteemed Design Technology teacher. His enthusiasm and experience brings the class to life. Andrew will also be leading the club as camp manager.
Hector Rayner is in his second year of college where he is studying Sport and coaching. A keen footballer with a wealth of experience.
Natalie Romain is a full time teacher at Ballard, working with the younger years in nursery all the way up to year 11 pupils. A keen hockey player and runner Natalie will be joining in heartily with the kids.
Alex Lopez - Alex wears many hats within the school day. She particularly enjoys the outdoor nature walks and craft that she does with the younger years. We look forward to discovering the world around us during nature trips to the pond and trails.
